Riding Shotgun Down Sunset Blvd

Pacific Standard Time is the Getty-organized look at the birth of the postwar art scene in Los Angeles. As part of this initiative, project organizers are conducting an extensive series of oral histories with many of Los Angeles's key artists, filmmakers, curators, collectors, and critics. Here is one video from that series. The second one is my submission, with director John Cassavetes driving around the Hollywood Hills in the 1960s, listening to "California Girls" and complaining about Los Angeles, but still kinda liking it.
